The Ninja Blender is truly the ninja of the kitchen, capable of whipping up an array of recipes. The name is fitting and so are some of the kick-ass recipes that have been created with this fine appliance.

Of course, you could use any blending gadget you have available to recreate these, but each recipe has been constructed and perfected with the use of the Ninja Blender.

Cooking Made Simple with the Ninja Cooking System [Bakes, Roasts, Slow Cooks & More!]

Cooking Made Simple with the Ninja Cooking System [Bakes, Roasts, Slow Cooks & More!]

I received a Ninja Cooking System to facilitate this review.  All opinions are my own.

Just a couple of months ago, I introduced you to one of my favorite new small appliances.  The Ninja Ultima Blender is my go-to for making delicious smoothies, especially for an on-the-go breakfast option for myself, and it easily replaced my old blender and food processor.  Today I’m sharing with you one of Ninja’s newest small kitchen appliances that I think blow your mind – like it did mine.

The Cooking System comes with one main component [where you see the controls], with a removable pot [which is dishwasher safe!], Multipurpose Pan, Roasting Rack, and Lid.  The pot is the only part of the system that is dishwasher safe, so you have to remember to hand the lid and pans.  One thing to note is the relatively light weight of the pot.  Our old slow cooker was SO heavy for me to lift and empty.

We’ve been using the Cooking System for a few weeks now and I do admit that it’s hard to remember what all this little machine can do!  I tend to rely on it as a slow cooker, but we’ve used it in a couple other ways too.

I’m definitely thinking about investing in a few of the accessories for the system too – like the full Recipe Book with over 150 recipes and I love the Ninja Tote which would make traveling with already prepared meals much easier.

I would definitely recommend the Ninja 3-in-1 Cooking System for every household.  It cooks 30% faster using Triple Fusion Heat Technology.  Cooks with 30% less fat by cooking with steam in baked good and roasting, and provides for super fast clean-up as the pot is non-stick and super easy to clean.  I do want to note that you should never deep fry in the Ninja Cooking System – it is not meant for this purpose.  If you’re looking for deep frying options, Ninja Professional Frying System.

You can purchase the Ninja Cooking System right on the Ninja Kitchen website for $199.99.  This model comes with the removable pot and lid, roasting rack, multi-purpose pan, and the 150+ Recipe booklet!  The same model is available on Amazon.com for $149.99 but doesn’t include the recipe book.

Ninja Foodi reviews 2020: What reviewers and bloggers are saying

Ninja Foodi reviews 2020: What reviewers and bloggers are saying

So, you’ve heard a bunch of hype about the Ninja Foodi in your search for an air fryer and/or pressure cooker, but now you’re wondering if it actually lives up to it. You could pore over countless reviews online, but that gets overwhelming real quick. So, we did it for you.

Here you’ll find an aggregation of Ninja Foodi reviews, letting you know the important takeaways like functionality, price, and how it compares to competitors. If you want to see why the Ninja Foodi made our list of the top air fryers (and what else made the cut), then check out our comprehensive guide to air fryers.

What is the Ninja Foodi?

You know how the Instant Pot claims to be a one-stop shop for all of your cooking appliance needs? Well, the Ninja Foodi takes that a step further by combining the power of a multi cooker with an air fryer.

The Foodi can pressure cook, slow cook, sauté, steam, and air fry. It also features TenderCrisp technology, which is a combination of pressure cooking and air frying that allows you to rapidly cook ingredients and finish off with a crispy texture. Good Housekeeping notes that this feature makes the Ninja Foodi stand out from the crowd. Though, since the Ninja Foodi hit the market, Instant Pot has created its own version: The Instant Pot Duo Crisp, which pressure cooks and air fries.

Owning a Foodi is supposed to untether you from having three separate appliances (a pressure cooker, a slow cooker, and an air fryer.) It does take up more space than any of its parts on their own, but overall, it reduces clutter.

Since the OG Ninja Foodi came out, Ninja has also released a couple models with a few tweaks like the Ninja Foodi electric countertop grill and Ninja Foodi Deluxe XL.

What makes the Ninja Foodi great

First off, the fact that it takes the place of more than one appliance is a huge plus — that’s why we loved the Instant Pot so much when it came out. And even though it does have a ton of uses, Business Insider says it doesn’t cut corners on any of them.

“The Foodi is surprisingly easy to use and doesn’t skimp on effectiveness in squeezing in its long list of functions.”

Not only does Business Insider compliment the Foodi’s functionality, it sings high praise for ease of use as well, saying, “Cooking with the Foodi is pretty much fool-proof, whether you want to make a savory pork tenderloin that falls apart with a poke of your fork, or sweet potato fries that are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.”
